Ford 600 carb help. Please

Ford 600 tractor, I have a MS 428 carb, I took it apart yesterday and cleaned all the jets out, used carb cleaner, and assembled back together, I did not remove the float assembly but removed the main adjusting screw and the idle mixture screw, both plugs on the bottom and tge thing inside the carb that requires a ratchet to unscrew, reinstalled everything and now I'm getting Frey smoke out the back of the exhaust when I open up the throttle, I have a feeling it needs more adjustment, can someone help me, the motor inst sputtering or anything.

reset main needle to about 2 turns out. idle needle to about 1,5

make sure that your choke flapper isn't stuck on full choke.

make sure that you do not have oil in the water or water in the oil.

start with fresh gas.

what are you getting with that?

The problem I had was the float warning
sticking, the float is not sticking now but
now I have a grey or white color smoke out
the exhaust, I figures while I was in there
I'll clean it. It is worse now before I
never had any smoke.
