Trying to identify another Ford of mine

Was told it was a 340B, it has the 3 cylinder diesel and these are the numbers under the hood
Tractor Number BD19838
Model Number CU5NW2
Engine 35789**2F16 ( I can't read the asterisk position)
Transmission 2D08B
Rear Axle 2D14B
Hydraulic Puump 2F11B
Hydraulic Lift 2F17A
Unit ***17B

Some of the above numbers are also stamped on the right side bell housing flat.

On the left side bell housing flat there are these numbers:
OU05
2D08
30770

I am slowly trying to put this tractor back together (got it as a basket case) and I would like to get new or reman fuel injectors so that is one less thing I have to worry about. The numbers on the fuel injectors (3 of them) are:
BKBL80S5437
DN5222305 EK

I cannot find an exact match on those injector numbers buy I also don't know which numbers are important. Thanks

Serial # BD19838 is for a tractor build in 1992
Model # CU5NW2
CU5 = 250C industrial, replaced the 340B
N = ? this should be a number telling what engine it has. A 250C has a 192 ci diesel engine so the N should be a 1.
W = independent pro
2 = 8x8 synchro power reversing trans

??17B production date
? = should be a 2 for 1992
? should be a letter for the month produced
17 = day of the month
B = day shift

Some of the components where built on June 17, 1992 so the tractor would have been assembled some time later, most likely July, Aug, Sept

The numbers on the inj don't help much, your looking for E9NN9F593CA, available from this site for $63.93 each.
All State Ag Parts has reman inj for $30 each, doesn't say if they need your old cores.
I'd take the one you have and get them pop tested, they make be ok to reuse.

Thanks Destroked. I am pulling each injector in turn and taking it apart and running the parts through my ultrasonic cleaner in a bath of WD-40. My smallest wire to clean out the holes is .012 and that is still bigger than the holes. I'm looking for my brass wire brush to measure its wire diameter.

I'll ask my buddies at our weekly Boys Night Out dinner if they know a place local that will test them.

Interesting. I just went back out and verified it does in fact say CU5NW2 on both the metal tag on the hood and is stamped on the bell housing flat. It does have the 8x8 power reversing transmission.

could also be a 260C which has the 201ci in it

late 80's on they quit using the numbers for engine designations,
my 345C(which is pretty much a 250C with a loader)has a "P" for the engine code and
it's a 192ci

Wasn't aware they stopped using the numbers in the late 80's.
I'll have to look into that.
I have a 89 6610, 92 5030 and 94 3930 here that I'll look at, I knew what they were so have never looked at the tags.

If this is correct and P is for a 192 then his N could be for a 201 making the tractor a 260C.
I'll pencil in a note on my list.

I believe that they switched to the letters for the engine code with the "emissionized" engines. Prior to that the numbers just indicated fuel and exhaust type. The letters for the emissionized engines provided the exact engine spec so that the shops would know which exact parts would keep it within the emission specifications.
