Or whatever this thing is called? I pulled this mechanism off and noticed 2 really bent bolts. Looks like there is no way to pull the bolts without removing that housing. Any ideas on how to get those bolts out would be grateful.

I looked and looked and I cannot find a set screw. Any idea where exactly it is? It might be the PO welded over it or it is marred and not visible

I'll be darned if I can find it. I think I'll cut the head of the bolt of and put a new one in reversed. Can't imagine that would be any worse than what's going on with it now.

It is a coupling [half]. Are you talking about the four screws? It seems to me that they may be
mounted in rubber, so probably aren't bent but may need new rubbers? They reduce the
vibrations transmitted through the coupling.

Yes the bolts/screws in the rubber the rubber is good its just the one of the bolts is bent.

If removing the flange is out, I don't suppose you could drill a hole in the mounting plate and remove and reinstall the bolts one at a time as you rotate the flange.

that is a great idea! I can't see that there is any balance issue with that front mount plate. Thats probably what I'll do.

I think the only thing you'll have to worry about is a crack developing in the mounting plate later if one side of your hole is too thin. You can weld it up if you think that's going to be a problem.
