Transmission oil/fluid

I have a 1993 3930 Ford tractor. I need to know the type of
transmission fluid and / or oil to use. Gears are grinding when
shifted

Something that specifically says that it "meets or exceeds" the NH M2C-134-D spec. "will work for" any words other than "meets or exceeds" are not valid conveyances of the property of the fluid.

Grinding gears when shifting is more likely to be caused by an out-of-adjustment clutch, or trying to shift a non-syncronized transmission while moving, than old or low transmission oil.

As others may have said, rpms too high, in too big of a hurry after pushing in the clutch, light oil.....Premium Trans-Hyd fluid (134C,D, J20C) since you have wet brakes and hydrostatic steering, not assisted steering like on my 3910. Also it appears you have the non-synchronized 8/2 like in mine.
