looked at a ford industrial loader today with a damaged 3 cylinder diesel engine .has a 6 speed transmission with high and low.has a 3 point hitch and pto. owner says its a 1973. has been repainted sometime in the past and has a 3400 decal on front/side of hood. numbers on foil tag under hood and on flat area on right side of bell housing match and are as follows.
B1022B
3L09B
C403808
left side of engine block says new Holland with their insignia and HG2 5F09 cast into block .also has a lucas injector pump made in the uk, and what looks like a 12 volt generator also made by lucas .tag on loader reads as follows 19528 and 591232.
also included is a 4500 donor tractor with a good engine - numbers cast into that block are as follows
DONN 6015 L
2B 2 13
will that engine fit ? and everything hook up properly? only thing I noticed was what I think is the hyd. pump on left rear of 3400 block for the 3 point hitch there is not one on the donor 4500 there is a cover bolted on where it should be.
any and all input will be appreciated not to familiar with these fords
