Replacement Dog Leg

I need to replace a dog leg panel on NAA
hood. I have a nice clean hood but the
left dog leg is missing. Are the ones
from this site good? How exactly are they
attached - I'm guessing spot welds?

I've never used any after market sheet metal. But I would guess that what you're looking at is better than you will find anywhere else. As for how it's attached, I went out and looked at mine. Can't see for sure because of the radiator, but it looks like it may be spot welded. Also the parts manual doesn't show any fasteners.

If I remember right there are bolts on an inside flange that attaches it to the hood, easier to do with the hood off and put it on as an assembly.

I have not used the replacement doglegs either.
Here are a couple pictures of an old original though.
You can see where the welds were.
With the hood side off, you could drill holes here and use bolts.
The aftermarkets "might" be made to use bolts. I don't know.
The N series used bolts here to begin with, so not a stretch.
