Please help me determine what year my Ford 2000 is. I found this info down on the tractor in front of the starter. C7NN6015S,8K25, B087901. Also found on a plaque is tractor number 0235159, model B1022A.

Scott,Is your tractor a 4 cyl. or 3 cyl.? If it's a 3 the number you are looking for is on the right hand side on the horizontal flat behind where the engine
bolts to the bell housing if that make sense to you.If a 4 cyl. it will be on a flat surface on the starter side.

B10 = 2000 All purpose
2 = Gas engine with vertical exhaust
2 = 540 Transmission PTO
A = 4 speed transmission

The tractor number is most likely C235159 which would be a 1969 2000.

Mike, It is a 3 cyl. The numbers I found per your direction are B1022A, 9D29B, and C235159.

Mark, I believe you have my answer. Thank you for your help.

9D29B production date
9 = year, 3 cylinder 2000's where built from 1965 to 1975 so 9 would be for 1969
D = 4th letter of the alphabet = 4th month of the year = April, They did no use the letter I
29 = day of the month
B = day shift
Tractor was built April 29, 1969 on day shift
