eems common and many folks simply use universal hyd oil in all compartments, i.e., let them mix.

Like JMOR says, quite common.

CNH has recommended 134D (Ambra) in all 3 sumps for over 25 years.

Drain/flush all three sumps and refill all to the correct levels with 134D and move on.

Yes, levels will change a bit as things equalize.

(quoted from post at 15:47:29 04/29/19) My 641 leaked hydraulic fluid into transmission. I put tubing inside pressure line from pump to hydraulic cavity to stop leak.
e is asking about differential, but maybe he will need that info, too, one day.

I am just hoping it isn't something major. I fill hydraulic fluid to correct level and disc my garden (about 1 acre, several passes) and by the time i was done it wouldn't lift disc all the way up cause the hydraulic fluid was already low. should i drain t out of rear end to keep it from over filling and causing other problems or leaks??

How low?

What is the level of the oil in the differential and the transmission?

Tranmission level is perfect. After discing the garden it was low enough I wouldn't show on the dipstick.

I have been using Ford 134 AB trans-hydraulic fluid for years in all 3 sumps in a 1963 2000 with the same problems and pin holes in the hydraulic pump
output pipe that goes through the tranny case which cause the tranny to use the same fluid as is used in the hyd sump. Smoother shifting in the winter,
slightly noisier.....on a 60+ year old tractor.....big deal!
