Ford 420 Steering Cylinder Seal

I am trying to replace the seals on the hydraulic cylinder for the steering on my Ford 420 but can't figure out how to get to these seals. The seals I am trying to do are in the kit for #2. The service manual I have says to remove the piston rod bushing retaining snap ring and remove the scraper. I don't see a snap ring on the end? I included pictures of each end of the cylinder.

Looks like there's a snapring behind the outward-facing dirt-exclusion lip seal.

Carefully pop out that seal, and look for the snapring that retains the actual pressure seals.

Any trick to popping that seal out? I have the replacement for it. Can't really get anything behind it. Maybe a knife edge but I don't want to scare anything up.
