960 ID?

Friend picked up a 960. Was looking it over and found these brackets. One each side on the trumpets. Anybody know what they were used for?

They are used to mount a Ford two row mounted corn picker (Model 16-66).I wouldn't throw them away, but you see I'm in corn country. If one found an old picker in a shed somewhere you would be hard pressed to find those brackets laying loose anywhere. They are not used on the later (602) pickers
