PTO belt pulley foe 641

Most of the PTO pulleys available for sale fit the 1 1/8" PTO shaft. 8/9N tractors were originally fitted with 1 1/8" PTO shafts, though many have been converted to the 1 3/8" shaft.

Your 641 PROBABLY has a 1 3/8" PTO shaft.

The first thing to do is determine which size PTO shaft your 641 has.

1 1/8" PTO pulleys can be made to fit a 1 3/8" PTO shaft with a spacer and adapter.

Grandpa had a belt pulley for his early Ford tractors. He also had a spacer with long bolts to move the pulley back away from the tractor and 1-3/8 to 1-1/8 PTO shaft adapter for the 871 and other ford tractors of that ilk with the larger shaft.

I still have several pulleys and at least one spacer. I don't have the stub shaft or the bolts. I would think those shafts might not be so common in this day and age.

Here's what it looks like with spacer and 1 3/8" to 1 1/8" adapter.
However it seems the spacers are getting harder to find.

There is a newer version of that spacer. It just looks like a box with long bolts that go through the pulley and the spacer. I have two of the newer type and would sell at least one of them.

One thing I'll add to the advice below.
If you were planning to use the belt
pully to run a 3 point buzz saw it won't
work with that adapter that Andy shows.
For feed grinders or mills you'll be
fine.
