Newer style PTO brake band?

I am rebuilding the PTO clutch on my 8000 and would like to replace the brake band.I'm told the loops are a common failure point and Ford came out
with a newer, thicker band that is less likely to break. Does anyone know the dimensions of the improved band so I can verify I am getting the latest
and greatest? Thanks in advance.

Looks like the original part number was C7NNB726D, which means it was used starting in 1967, and it was superseded by part number E0NNB726AA, which was first used in 1980, well after the 8000 was no longer being made, and then again later by 47124034. The parts site lists that last part number as "BRAKE BAND - 0.8mm Thick". It also looks like only that last part number is actually available any longer, so if you order that part number from your CNH dealer you should get the later design.

Thanks Sean, very helpful! I'm curious as to where you found the 471xxxx part number? My online NH search found the supersedure to the E0NN number,
but nothing to the number you came up with. It's a good number and there is stock of that band so that is what I'll use. Thank you again for the
help.

The New Holland parts page shows the original C7NN part number but it has an explanation point icon next to it and if you hover your mouse over that exclamation point, a little pop-up message says that it was superseded by the E0NN number, but if you click on the part number a larger pop-up shows the details of the part including the latest 471xxxx part number.

Messicks actually shows the best evolution of the superseding part numbers. If you search Messicks for the C7NN part number, the details page for that part number says that it was superseded by the E0NN number, and you can then click on that part number and it will list the details of that one and say that it was actually superseded by a second E0NN and then when you click on that one and the details page shows forr that one, it says that it was superseded by the 471xxxx partnumber.
