901 Steering Parts

Was rebuilding my steering box since I had a bearing failure. I drove the steering shaft out and the sleeve came out in two pieces. It is aluminum, or at
least non-ferrous.

Can it be repaired by welding or some other method? If not, does anyone have a source for the part? I have tried eBay and all other internet sources.
I even tried to see if there were Ford car parts that would cross reference but have come up short.

Any help would be appreciated.

Have you tried a dealer search? Your Ford (NH) dealer should be willing to do this for you. There may possibly be some lingering stock somewhere that a dealer search will find if it's out there.

Sometimes you need to read your old posts cutsit. I found a used box for a very reasonable price on fleabay, but it,s already sold. Here is another one on fleabay. Item #323681247824. If you don't know how to find that, ask some of your family with a computer or smartphone to look it up for you.
