1969 With Loader

The model #C5024E shows to be a 1969 and shows 3500 on the grill. I am getting ready to do some major swapping of the loader, steering, front end and also oil pan over to my 78 3600. I am trying to find out what loader is on this donor tractor. The tag on the loader can't be read. Any help would be great. Thanks

Other than the loader that's not a real difficult swap.
Both have gas engines and I recommend you use the 3600's engine, it's a 175 ci engine where the 3500 has a smaller 158 ci engine.
Leave the 3600 drive train together and simply swap the front axle assembly with the bolster as well as the complete steering column assembly.
3500 uses a power steering cylinder similar to a 4000 all purpose.
Be careful when changing the oil pan, that cast pan weighs around 50-75 lbs or more, I used a floor jack to lower it from one engine and raise it up to bolt to another, also there are shims between the oil pan and front bolster, don't loose them and make sure to put them back in.
You can keep the horizontal exhaust or simply swap the 3500's exhaust manifold onto the 3600's engine and use the 3500's hood.

Where are you located? If not to far I may be able to offer some weekend help in trade for left over parts.

Don’t know the difference between the 730 and 735, but this 64- 4000 I rebuilt has the 730 on it. They kind of look alike.

I live in Clinton TN, Of exit 122. I am going to take my time doing the swap and clean and paint the items as I put them on. I want it to look good when done. I am going to clean and paint the loader too. Thanks

I will let you know. There is another member who has already asked me for the whole power steering stuff I take off for his brother's 3000 in another thread on here. But you can be second if he don't buy it.

I got the tractor to the house yesterday and power washed it before I put it in the garage. Under the blue paint job that some body did it has shiny silver paint that is not the primer all over it. Has there ever been a silver ford tractor. Could have been this color since it was built as a special order.

Hard to say what color TVA would have painted it or had it painted.
I'm still trying to figure out what the fenders were originally for, with the embossed Ford lettering they look like they're for a 800 or 6000.
The hand grabs look like ones for a 6000.
