901 Steering Parts

Cutsit

Was rebuilding my steering box since I had a bearing failure. I drove the steering shaft out and the sleeve came out in two pieces. It is aluminum, or at
least non-ferrous.

Can it be repaired by welding or some other method? If not, does anyone have a source for the part? I have tried eBay and all other internet sources.
I even tried to see if there were Ford car parts that would cross reference but have come up short.

Any help would be appreciated.

Here are some pictures. Ford part number is NCB 3734a.

I thought sure someone would have answered your first post or I would have pulled out the manual cutsit. There is a parts man on fleabay that goes by porter8n. If you look up some of his parts and click on his username you can message him about that part. A good welder can probalby fix that.

I sent him a message about that part. It is a part number #36 at CNH New Holland partstore. I don't know how to link it, maybe someone else will.

Thank you for the response. I called my not-so-local New Holland dealer and that part is not available.

I will take it to the welding shop to see what they can do.

What parts sheet are you looking at? We're all looking at #36 on the New Holland website. Part #NCB3734A

AHA! From your other thread, you're looking at the end of the assist cylinder. OP and the rest of us are looking at the steering gear!
