Transmission bolt hole question

On the 8spd transmission on the 3 cylinder models, are the bolt holes all the same size (two under the hydraulic pump on both sides)? They look like they can be used for splitting stands.

Not my tractor, but what I’m talking about.

(quoted from post at 23:06:32 03/02/19) Yes they are all the same - from 2000-7000
size and from 1965 till who knows when,
1990s or even beyond?
They are 3/4-10 threads.
Thank you

Mike you aren't planning on the difficult dangerous route of blocking the rear and rolling the front are you?

No. I’m getting ready to put the snow plow back onto the tractor. It’s been about 5 years since we had the plow on and have missed placed the bolt for it to attach to the tractor. The last time we split the tractor, we had blocks and a dolly under the transmission and blocks and a floor jack under the engine.

I’m trying to get as far as I can without running into problems. The biggest problem is going to be the pump to the engine (on the old alternator it was a dual pulley and on the new generator it’s a single pulley, I don’t know if I’m going to have he room for the dual pulley on the new generator). It’s going to be fun.

End up just running new lines to the remote on the 3000. I was having problems with the plow pump. Once all the hydraulic line were hooked we couldn’t figure out why the plow wouldn’t raze. Turns out that the lift line was required, not the return. We disconnected the return line and the plow razed and lowered. Big difference in weight than before. Before we used a ford 3 bottom plow, now using a wood chipper that weighs close to thousand pounds (900 pounds)
