3910 clutch

Good evening all.
I changed the clutch with all new parts from yt tractors. The throwout bearing has lots of travel and the clutch won't release. Has very little travel after contacting the pressure plate. Anyone have a clue what I did wrong. TIA Dave

Can you adjust the free play down to about 1/2 to 3/4 inch with the turnbuckle?

Which clutch kit did you get, they list two.
Did you put the spacers between the flywheel and pressure plate.

I posted up on the other forum but I guess it was too late for you to see it. Are you sure that you removed the little metal clips that are in the pressure plate to hold the fingers down when shipping and are you sure the clutch disc is not in backwards. I always roll the tractor together and install 2 bell housing bolts, then adjust and check everything before proceeding. Will save you a lot of work sometimes.
