1966 Ford 2000 diesel 3 cyl cooling problem

Was blowing snow then suddenly spitted antifreeze from the radiator overflow tube.
No indication on the temperature gauge which previouly indicated 185.
I slowly opened the radiator cap and heard "goble goble"
as it has air escaping inside rad.
No longer heat in the cab heater hoses. Fan belt tension is OK.

Any Ideas ?

Thank you in advance

When the head gasket starts leaking compression, usually the heater will stop too. Top the coolant with the engine cold, then watch for compression bubbles in the radiator with engine running. Any air bubbles usually means a leaking head gasket, or worse.

Thank you for your reply,

I checked running engine then no bubbles in the radiator.
No white smoke at exhaust and no coolant in oil.

Is it possible that the thermostat is stuck closed... running 30 minutes
and NO heat on top radiator hose and heater hoses.

I read almost all your posts on the forum and find them very pertinent
and helpful.

Thanks again !
