1969 4000 rims

Got a Belgium built 4000 with 36" 8 loop rims.

Anybody find a source for them?

Ultradog, I seem to recall (maybe I'm wrong)that you welded some centers onto a pair of JD 36"rims. Aside from it probably doesn't run as well with that JD paint, they holding up OK? It looks like my centers ride on the pads the loops are attached to...did you put a piece between your center and the rim or just fill it in with weld?

You can see I need to do something, preferably before warm weather gets here.

Thanks

Fred,
Yes, that was me with the 36" JD rims.
I was able to set the centers against the bevel on the rims and weld them on. No spacer needed.
Was an acceptable fix on an old worker that had good tires/bad rims.
I sold that tractor shortly after but am confident they're still working for him.

I'm fixing to do the same thing with a pair of 38s here. One rim is real bad the other who knows. Bought a pair of 13x38 JD rims and am going to weld them on.

By the way, If you just need one, I did keep one of those 36" 8 loop rims. It is a bit rough but could be saved.
Had several people ask for it for a fire ring but I've hung onto it these 6 or 8 years cause I knew someday someone might need one.
I'd let it go cheap to a member here.
One glitch: It's up at my property in central MN and I won't get up there - even to get you a photo - till late April or so.

Been searching for a while looking for rims, and tonight I trip across the ones in the link.

Wonder what freight would cost.

And this got me a part number, found the rim ( if it's the right one) several places, this was the cheapest...again freight.

Appreciate the offer, but Minnesota is a pretty good haul for me (southern Ohio)

You must have good sources for rims, for what people want for used rims around here...even if I could find the right ones...I'll look real hard at the new ones I found

Thanks
