PROOFMETER/TACHOMETER

I'm trying to find data on the Ford Proofmeter. We're talking about all N's and Hundred Series, maybe the Thousand Series too. I don't see nay proof (pun intended) that they ever supplied a unit that registered in Kilometers Per Hour instead of MPH. It seems the unit would have to be configured all different if so. I have not looked into the Cork and Dagenham Fordson Majors yet.

The N's, Hundreds and early Thousands where American tractors.
I've never seen a KPH proof meter for one of those models.
The 65 later World tractors didn't have markings on the proof meter for road speeds, they had shift decals that could be gotten with mph or kph markings.

Yes, I know all those early Fords were USA built, first at the Rouge Plant then after the war at the Highland Park Plant, moving out to the Romeo Tractor Plant in '67. Ford N's, Hundreds, and Thousands were never built anywhere else including overseas. Some say the export *NN (kerosene/TVO burner) models would have KPH meters but I disagree. I've never seen one anyway nor listed in any MPC. Proofmeters did not show up til the later 8N Model, 1949/50. I don't know or care about the NH models. I always insist on seeing the data, not relying on what someone says or believes. For 35 years I spent in engineering my mantra was always "show me the data".
