3400 Intake Tube

1970 3400 3 cylinder gas. I am looking for the intake tube that goes between the carburetor and air filter. Part number may be 86531376 or DONN9R504B. I have been using a piece of flex tubing from NAPA but it doesn't last long before it starts to separate. Anyone have an old one they would like to sell or know where I might find one? (no luck on EBay) Thanks..Bruce

The tube you need is used on most all 65 and later 2000, 3000, 4000 gas powered tractors.
Ones on some early models don't have a provision for the restriction indicator but will work.
Don't know of any new ones available, most likely a salvage yard item.

That's good info to know. Any salvage yards you could recommend? I'm in Central Ca.

Alexanders in Texas is probably the biggest Ford tractor salvage yard you'll find.

I may have one as we've stripped out a couple of gas 3 cylinder tractors, but have no idea where it might be if it didn't end up in scrap medal.
Scrapping tractor parts isn't something I do much of, may need it later.

I checked with Alexander's, they don't have one. Suggested I fab one from muffler pipe. So I'll keep looking.
