Row crop sway bars. What's a fair price?

Just looking for a fair price between tractor fans.

I had a pair built at a local shop for $10 a peace. Don't know if he'd build another pair at that price. They got to be "tweeked just right"

I'd say between 50 and 100 bucks for the pair. I was able to buy new ones about ten years ago from CNH; I think the price then was about 35 bucks each.

I sold a pair about two years ago for $100 + shipping.

They went quickly and the buyer was thrilled to get them.

Royse, I happen to be lucky enough to live about 40 miles from Stronjy Implement. He deals in older tractors, especially fords. Last spring I was in and asked if he had a set. He had one set that he had made up in a machine shop. As I recall he was getting $75.00 for them. I took them and made used them for a pattern and made up six sets more. Work great on my 900. I like them better than the ones on my 841, just seem to work better. As I recall he has sold most of the ones I made. I would say $100.00 for NOS isn't off the mark. I know what I had into the ones I made, not as easy as just drilling a few holes and bending them in a brake press. As stated before, they take a bit of tweaking, after a few, though a guy could bang them out.
