Hi all: recently purchased an aftermarket fuel tank and upon installing a new fuel shut off valve assy from YT noticed that the screen attached to the shut off valve assy does not enter into the new fuel tank very far. My concern in this regard is that after a while given normal use that the finely meshed screen in the tank will become somewhat restricted(starved fuel); and the only way to clean it would be to remove the shut off valve again, etc. My initial thoughts were to double up the vertical length of screen somehow to allow more fuel at any given time should debri become a restriction problem ? Have any of you folks run into this problem: i.e. aftermarket tanks and how to correct /modify or add another filter in the tank that will increase the surface area of
