Confusion with my PTO Clutch

I have taken apart the PTO clutch to replace the O-rings and inspect the plates. This is a single speed PTO in an S-O-S transmission.
The piston has an O-Ring in the bore of the piston, size 142, no problem there.
The outer seal that was in the piston is a rubber rectangular seal. The parts list shows this seal as IP-77513A Seal, Trans. RR CI Piston Oil, Outer
The dealer gave me part number C5NN-7C000-A which is a cast iron ring. The piston has part number 312055 cast right on the piston. Neither of these numbers even show up on the NH web site. The piston ring fits fine.
Can I use the cast iron piston ring with this aluminium piston # 312055?

C5NN-7C000-A is the part number for the outer seal of the direct drive clutch (ref #49 below). The PTO
clutch needs a C0NN-7C000-A, as per the parts book.

Myself, personally, I would return the C5 seal to the dealer and tell them they screwed up the order (this
is also why I always order my own parts). In my PTO clutch I would prefer the rubber seal because it does
a better job of sealing. The cast iron seal is used in the direct drive clutch because that housing can
get quite hot, and the rubber seal does not hold up well in that environment.

One more thing while you're in there: set up the preload on the PTO bearings to the high side of the spec.
If you do that, as well as make sure your plates are flat, it might actually stop when you shut the handle
off.

Thank you all very much. I'm the one that screwed up. I have the wrong seal in the direct rive clutch. I'll be swapping them tonight. Thanks again.
