Shipping Weight of 8 speed Transmission?

Does anyone know how much an 8 speed (high low) transmission weighs, I just removed one from a ford 3000 diesel and need to ship it. Don’t have a way to weigh it at all. It’s a complete unit ready to bolt in......just he transmission.

I don't have an answer.
I looked into having an 8 sp shipped up
from Texas last fall.
To get some freight quotes I estimated it
- on a good pallet - at 500 lbs.
I doubt it would weigh much over that if
at all.
Unrelated to your question but an update
to a question I asked a few weeks ago
about the weight of a bare 3 cyl engine
block.
Two guys can pretty easily lift one off
the ground and set it in the trunk of a
car.
I would guess not over 225 lbs, maybe a
little less.

Thank you.

Injust found a uship quote that said it was “measured exact” and it was 625 lbs for a whole transmission assembly with no shifter top.

My shipment includes the transmission assembly with shifters, box of bolts , linkage rod, clutch, pressure plate, and flywheel. I estimated my shipment with pallet to be 750 lbs. I think that is a good estimate based off what I found.

Thank you all!!
