A few days ago I got some help from a few of you regarding so pie Weights that I acquired that came off an 801 Powermaster with 24” wheels.

Here is a picture of the weights.

I’m trying to put these weights on a 3500 industrial that also has 24” wheels.

Problem is my 3500 has cast iron centers that use a special “top hat” style lug nut.

A friend is looking at a parts tractor that is an early 4000 model with 24” wheels.
Will this wheel center work on my 3500 or would the lug nuts be a different size? I’m hoping to find some used wheel centers that will allow me to mount up these pie weights.

To be clear I want to simply swap out my wheel centers to use the weights. The stand off nuts look like a common tapered lug nut.
Thanks in advance. Hopefully this will help someone else too.

If you swap centers and give him your
special lug nuts to go with them they will
work.
You could also do that with the guy you're
getting the pie weights from.
I'm guessing the cast steel centers on
your industrial were stronger than the
pressed centers you'd be getting but most
of us aren't running these things Hard day
after day so you should be okay.
Am curious about what kind of a device you
are using to post here. Is it an Apple
product?
I post with an Android and don't get all
the goofy symbols I see in your posts.
They make your posts harder to read.
We do care about punctuation and grammar
here but you might try experimenting to
get rid of some of that stuff.
Looks like the " symbol is one and maybe '
also.
This is how your writing looks.

I'm wondering about the actual difference in weight it will make to take off the heavy cast centers & replace w/the lighter pressed centers & weights??

I have no issues with seeing the numbers a little tweaked, especially when it's not intentional - I can still figure it out.
What I do have a problem with is those folks who write posts like 3rd graders. If they don't care to write carefully and
thoroughly, then I don't care to take the time to try and decipher what they said.
