Drawbar pulling force

Can anyone give me a rough estimate of what the drawbar pulling force of a 861 diesel would be in pounds before the tires would spin or the front end would come off the ground..

I am trying to figure cable and snatch block size I will need to pull a object.

I have some 1/2 inch cable so I know that is way over kill but I got it for free.
The snatch block is my concern because it needs to be rated for 3 times the line pull.

Shaun said Nebraska tests says a little over 5000 lbs
We will call it 6000 to be safe.
So I will need at least 18000 lb blocks.

Looks like the tractor had added ballast of 2780 lbs., between tire fill and weights for that test. Looks like it only pulled about 2900 lbs. without the added ballast. How much is yours ballasted? You should be plenty safe using the 6000 lbs.

I do not have ballast but could add some if needed as I have the valve to fill the tires with water.

I know it has to be pulling at least 3000 lbs as I broke a 5/32 cable rated at 2600 lbs without even getting into a hard bind. Based on what you guys have told me I think I will be plenty safe using 5000 to 6000 lbs as a base pulling force.

I have seen guys get in real trouble by thinking line pull and snatch block pull is the same.

Right now it is a old broken down pickup but it could be anything in the future like a small stump for instance.

This pickup has been sitting in my fence line for years.
In park with keys lost years ago.
Sunk down in mud and tires flat.
So its going to pull like a 2000 lb rock.

As long as I know the tractor will spin the tires before it breaks the cable or snatch block I can hook it to anything.
If the tires spin you just add another snatch block until you get the line pull to exceed the resistance.
