Hello,

I am wondering exactly what the manual means wheb it says tighten the nut (#7 in exploded view) until no slack. Is this referring to the gap between the spring washer and the bearings (#9) ? is there to be some movement by backing of a 1/6th of a turn? Is the total movement of the shaft only 3/32 including the spool valve movement?

Thank you

I don?t know the answer (haven?t yet had the fun of getting into
one of these) but suggest you search the archives for posts by
Ultradog. He?s written quite a number of times about this.
He?s Da Man on this, in my opinion.

yes, there has to be some movement up and down to get the valve to work. be sure to stake the nut so it cant move later.
