Ford 3000 hydraulic trouble

Guys.

The finish mower is the only reason this wasnt an issue last year. I just wanted to see if it would work and hold together. I have got 50 hrs on it since assembly.. and my biggest squawk is the rear 3 point.

This is technically a 3400 I had a loader with it and sold it off but its a 4speed trans.. no auxiliary take offs.

I rebuilt the piston and top cover with new orings, when I put air pressure into the system from the top of the cover the arms go up, and hold until I release the control lever or dump the air. This makes me think I have a good piston.

It will not pick itself up more than 4 to 5 inches with nothing attached to it and the motor revved up. I picked up a rebuilt pump .....mine mounts on the back of the engine over the transmission...... I have primed it checked for flow at every access point along the system flow control valve aux port plate

I am a newbie to these tractors for sure but not an idiot if I could get some insight from someone who has been there, or some better test procedures I am sure I can sort it.

Thanks for your time

Guys.

I bought this tractor in 100 pieces. So for it to be running and mowing last season was a small miracle on its own given the state it was in. This is my first ford tractor. I have operated several in my life. I rebuilt a farmall 350 diesel several years ago with my dad. I recently bought this tractor as I have 7 acres to mow and a self employed man doesnt have as much time as he would like. So a 7 foot finish mower gets me done in a couple hours.

if I remove the plug I dont get any flow or low flow, unless I pull that check valve, or whatever it is under that port.

y best guess at this point is that the unloader valve is stuck in the unload position, leaving only a low backpressure (~40PSI) available. Not enough for lift or even enough to open check valve, but enough for you to see some flow. Unloaders get stuck, especially when not used for long periods. A good cleaning is needed and if elastomeric O-ring is present, replace with correct one and if steel, carefully clean in place.

Is that located in the top cover? Near the piston assembly? I have a flow chart in my manual but no locations.
