Releasing Jubilee clutch

Finally got the clutch unstuck. Had the starter out 3 times. Drilled a 7/8 hoe in
the housing and popped the disc with a long screwdriver loose 3 years ago.
Couuldn"t do it this time.

Advised to jack it up, get it spinning and drop the jack. Didn"t work and I took
off across the yard, clutch down all the time. Made a U turn and pulled up in front
of the shop at an idle in third gear. Stomped on the brakes to stall it and the
clutch let go.

I"m making a device to flip down on the pedal before haying. Meanwhile it"s blocked
down. Thought this might help somebody.

Thanks for the tips. I had a clutch that would stick on my NAA (54). I finally broke down and replaced it. It's not that bad of a job. But here's a tip for you, that my Dad taught me when I was first learning to drive. If your breaks fail or clutch sticks in your case just reach down and turn the key off.
That clutch sticks because of rust caused my moisture, not just condensation, but moisture getting into the clutch housing through worn seals in the clutch shaft and left break cross over shaft.
