So I have a 1972 Ford 3003 cylinder diesel with power steering I'm attempting to repair the power steering gearbox but I'm having trouble finding parts diagram for the gearbox all of the diagrams that I find more of a style that have separate caps on each side out of the boxes in mine does not have that it has one large one. Someone has already been in this box so I'm trying to make sure everything is present before even attempting to repair my question is has anyone else run in to this type of gearbox and can you help me find a parts diagram.

(quoted from post at 14:35:52 11/18/18) Sounds to me like you have a 4000, not a 3000. Does your box look like the one in the link below? If not, can you post a
picture of what you have? All 3000 boxes have two caps, one on each side.
4000 steering box
definitely not The one in the link mine has two sector shafts ill post pics some time tomorrow as i find time The tractor is definitely a 3000 but there is no telling where this steering gear assembly came from it's been replaced once and gone into once

Do the lines from the power steering pump go to the steering column or directly to the cylinders ? If they go directly to the cylinders then it is an aftermarket power steering system and the steering gearbox is a manual one.

ts factory lines go from pump to gear

Rokon, do you have a Rokon? I have an RT340.
yes i do! My father inlaw used to make them he was the factory!

I stopped in at the factory a number of times. They treated me well when I wanted to swap out the 19 inch snow flake front for a 21 inch. Maybe I dealt with your father in law. Mine is a 1974. I rode a number of enduros on it in 1975 and 1976.

all right I'm back I got the steering gear repaired and functioning as manual at the moment now the lines had been removed from the cylinders to the steering gear valve assembly and they are bent up in such away I don't know which one goes where does anyone possibly have photos that could show me where they go? I've tried searching the Internet with out any luck

Since it's a 3610 steering box on a 3000 tractor, there's no telling how it's supposed to be hooked up.

I would replace the hard lines with hoses and hook them up to the cylinders while the rod ends of the cylinders aren't connected and then turn the steering wheel and watch which way the rods move and keep swapping things around until both cylinder rods move in the desired direction when turning the wheel. Note that the two cylinder rods should move in opposite directions from each other when it is working properly, one side should extend while the other side retracts and vice versa.
