I may have found my problem. Can anyone tell me what the voltage stabilizer does on the back of the instrument cluster. Terminals are broke off. Thanks
 
to over simplify it, it's to regulate the power coming into the gauges and protect them from the
spikes that will occur as the charging system varies charging amounts. Therefor it stabilizes the voltage
