ford nos parts

Bern do you know of a source for the 6000 emblems on the sides of the hood? I found a NOS set for a Gas a while back in Penn, but can't even come up with a decent used set for a diesel. What about the white seat also? I had mine out for a spin Sunday and am really thinking about starting the restoration on it this winter. Mine was one of the original Red recalls. I intend to put it back that way.
 
My 6000 is a Commander, which uses decals. I had a set made for me by a local sign shop - they came out pretty nice. I would have no idea where to find the older 6000 emblems other than wrecking yards.

As for the seat, I plan to visit my local upholstery shop when the time comes. The engine is my priority right now.
 
It would probably be expensive, but if you have a somewhat decent one see about somebody scanning and 3D printing you some.
 
If someone can email me a decent photo of the decal and dimensions of its length/height, I can probably generate a pdf file that your local sign shop can print or cut out of vinyl. No charge. Not sure where you find my email so here it is: [email protected].
 
Pre '65 6000 tractors used an emblem on the hood, not a decal. That said, if I couldn't find the emblem, I'd have a decal made
- it's easy for any good sign shop to do.

It's easy for a sign shop to generate a tractor decal so long as they have a digital file to print from. Once again, I make the offer to generate such a file if someone can provide a pic of a decal to match and dimensions the decal needs to be.
