Where in the wide world of sports is the filler hole for the engine oil? The oil filter is on the left side and the dipstick is on the right side. Any pics would help. Thanks!!

Not my pic, but is this it? Wasn't what/where I was expecting if so.

That's where I put the oil in on mine and so far it hasn't blown up.....grin. Lots better than on the 3000 which you get at it from the same side as the picture but the fill cap is on the other side of the engine, up under the other half of the cowl that's bolted in place, or the 4 cylinder that has a baffle in it to prevent engine rpms from throwing the oil out....accessible but the hole is small, won't accept a funnel of any size and all.

That's it, much easier to get to than the old style fill in the valve cover.
I've bought a couple of the later timing gear housings with the side oil fill, swapped the cover on my 4000SU will the engine was apart.
Going to put one on the 256 engine I have apart for the 5000 I recently purchased.
Eventually I'll probably switch them all over to side fill.

Yep, it was right there the whole time, I just assumed that wasn't it, but needed to double check as I get familiar with this tractor.
