Please help ID my new old Tractor

Dad rescued an old Ford tractor and then decided I needed to add it to my already way too long project list. Here is what I've found on the interweb. From the model/ser number combo found above starter Model 21202 ser num 50157 and engine part number on the block CONN 6015G. At least the engine ID's as a Ford 2000 Made in 1964, which is very near the Ford 601 series. Dad was sure it was a NAA. The model num indicates a 134 CI gas engine, 5 speed with live PTO. Going to attempt to load pictures so you guys can have a look. Many thanks.

2**** = 134 gas, 144 diesel; *1*** = produced 1963 and later; **20* = four wheel all-purpose type with adjustable front axle; *1**2 = five speed transmission with live PTO (two stage clutch). Beginning serial number for both 2000 and 4000 series for the 1963 model year was 38931.

The 21202 says its a 1964(after 1963) 134 gas, ag, adj frt axle, 4 sp, w hyd and pto.

However the pictures show a 5 sp.

So a frankentractor where someone replace something.. like added a 5 sp tranny.

The c0nn 6015g block is a 63 to 64 ford 134 cu in block.

Umm, No, original poster is right. 2000-series 4 cylinder 134 cubic inch, 1963 or later, all- purpose agricultural with adjustable front axle, gas, 5 speed with live PTO, 1964.

It pretty hard to have the number stamped on the clutch housing not match the transmission unless it's a restamp.

You have a low clutch pedal, thats good if you can feel both clutches disengage. Your drawbar needs flipping. Wrong hood but a fair paint job on the hard stuff.

Sounds like you got it right Allen. Definitely not a NAA.
I understand that "way too long list of projects" comment.
But if you want to drop it off here, I'll give it back as soon
as I'm done with it. ;)

Thanks Lawson. Did a little more surfing, appears to be an early 2000 which was very similar to the 600 series. The later 2000’s look much different.

Indeed they do. 62-64 model 2/4000 were four cylinders. Often called "priors".
'65 and up, square hood, mostly blue, 3 cylinders.
Here's my '64 4000 row crop and one of my 3000's which is very similar to the later 2000.

Excellent news ! Now I know who to call when I get in over my head. First job is to clean out the gas tank and rebuild the carb. Any other words of warning on this model ?

Nothing to warn about. Both versions were great tractors and parts are readily available.
Glad to help if I can though. May even have some parts laying around.
