3910 Hydraulic Filter

Just realized I don't have a hydraulic filter and was changing a brake rod seal and they rear axle/hydraulic fluid. I've replaced the seal and drained the fluid, will it be fine without any fluid until I can get the filter? Hopefully NAPA has one.

It'll be fine setting there until you get a filter and fill the system.
Don't drive it low on fluid.
The filter adapter has a valve in it that stops fluid from leaking out when you screw the filter off, you can fill the axle housing and change the filter later without draining the fluid back out.

Good to know, thanks for that info. Looks like the filter is below the left foot rest correct?

O'Reilly auto parts stocks WIX hydraulic filters if NAPA doesn't have it. If you have one of those around. That's where i bought mine.

AutoZone and Advance don't stock them here.

Yes that's where it's at.

Yepper. Plug this into the ebay search engine: Hydraulic Filter Replaces D8NNB486CA D8NNB486EA 231 2310 233 234 250C 2600. Scan down to
the very bottom of the "reliableaftermarketpartsinc" dealer posting for all the Ford tractors this fits and yours will be included.

$17.70 plus fast freight.

-EA and -CA aren?t the same filter. 84518613 is the current number for the CA suffix filter which is longer than the EA suffix filter. BTW $17 plus shipping is a high price for a will fit aftermarket filter.

Thanks! Just picked up the Wix from O'reilly.

Most Hyd filters for other tractors run around 30 bucks for the cheapest I've seen. On the ad I posted it said it will do both jobs, the short one and the long one. Seems to be a pretty popular filter.
