6600 sticky steering wheel

I've got a ford 6600 with factory power steering and lately the steering wheel seems to get stuck in place after not having been used for a week or 2. Takes a little bit of force to unstick it but then it's good and seem to operate normally when operating the tractor. no leaks etc. Anyone know what might be causing this? Anything here i should be concerned about.

I have experienced the same.. but only after first starting. Thought it was a pressure problem with pump, taking a second to build up, but could be one of the internal valves sticking open or shut. I would flush the power steering system and install a new filter and hope for bes,,t if it gets too bad at start up.

If after running a bit suspect weak pump.
