I have a 1962 ford industrial 2000. The charging system doesn't work and would like to change it to 12v negative ground. They have a kit on here for the 2000 but it says not for industrial. What is the difference?

I can't say why they wouldn't be the same.
It's pretty easy to roll your own if you can make the alternator bracket. A $50 alt from Napa, a bit of wire, maybe a new belt.
The best diagram for a generic 3 wire conversion I've found is at the link below.
A 1 wire is even easier but I like the 3.

Hi Fred, Do you know anyone interested in a totally restored 2000 Industrial, Have the loader and a Gannon rollover scraper box. But they have not been restored,as I had to have 3 back operations in 9 days !!! Thanks Jim in N M
