Not mine, etc. Government agency is auctioning a 1982 4610 with cab and implements. Please note that it's located about 20 miles north of Houghton,MI, in BIG snow country.

Around here, maybe Mennonite, but not Amish. True Amish here in PA do not use tractors. The only engine I've seen them use is a hit or miss to drive a baler on a wagon towed behind a horse.

The Mennonites use tractors all the time, but almost all of them replace the regular wheels and tires with steel wheels. A few Mennonites even have cars or trucks.

To me that would be about the ultimate winter tractor. Cab. Put heat in it if it doesnt have it. Lots of ballast. Good chains. I think if a guy could buy that for under $6K it would be a deal.

Pennsylvania still gives them big tax breaks so they stay competitive that way, plus their biggest income here these days is from tourists, so their farming doesn't need to be as competitive.

Briefly looked at it today when I was UP that way. Not a bad looking tractor, not sure if the hours are correct but it's surely low as it doesn't show a ton of wear. Doubt it will bring much around here as it lacks MFWD which is what most people around here want.
