4000 steering sector

I am working on my power steering sector putting new seals on the sector shafts.

I am confused. I need the 8n-3585, 8n3591.

YT has 2 listings

1- Sector Shaft Seal - The Sector Shaft (Pitman Arm) Seal is used on Ford tractors: 2000, 2110LCG, 231, 233, 2600, 3000, 333, 335, 3400, 3600, 3900, 4000, 4000SU, 4100, 4110LCG, 4600SU, 531, 532, 600, 601, 800, 801, Jubilee, NAA. Replaces 81803188, 8N3585, 8N3591, 8N3591A, 8N3591B, C5NN3C615A, D5UZ3591A, D5UZ3591B C5NN3C615A, D9NN7R510B, and D6NN3C615A. (Part No: C5NN3C615A)

$3.00

2- Steering Sector Retainer Seal - This Steering Sector Retainer Seal is used on Ford Tractors 1949 to 1964. It replaces 8N3585, 8N3591, 8N3591A, 8N3591B, D5UZ3591A, D5UZ3591B (Part No: 8N3591B)

$6.50

So they are saying that they are the same part, correct? If so, why would I pay $6.50 for the same part that's only $3.00.

Or am I missing something?

Then if they are the same, do I still need 2, one of each on each shaft?

Thanks, Pat

I bought some of those aftermarket off fleabay, I'm not impressed, as hard as they are to replace I like the factory seals much better. they use 2 on each side, $15 each CNH.

Does anyone know the number size, for the large O-rings that are on the sector side covers.

Thanks, Pat

Does anyone know which of these I need?

Yesterday's tractors
PN- C5NN3C615A, Or PN- 8N3591B, or do I need one of each, for each side.

I can not tell the difference, if there is a difference between then.

Thanks, Pat
