From his pictures, he has a 3 cyl model probably 1970-74.
I believe this is the vacuum advance hose.

Pictures? Must be on classic view? I don't see any on modern.

Strike this! I don't see any pictures anywhere. How are you seeing pics and I'm not?

Keith is probably referring to pictures Larry has posted over the last several years, mainly on tractor talk. It is a late 3-
cylinder 2000.
I agree about it being for the vacuum advance, but I don't know the size offhand.

Larry@stinescorner is a regular contributor of farm pictures on tractor talk. He only has 22,733 posts on YT!
I answered your question, can you help him?
Keith

The only forum I visit regularly on YT is Ford. So the # of posts he has on YT or pictures on other forums is irrelevant to me.

And since it is a 3 cylinder - sorry, but no I cannot help him. I do not have any experience with those or any knowledge of a little hose.

That doesn't sound like the vacuum advance line to me. I have a '73 4000 gasser and mine has the original metal line from the manifold above the carb to the distributor for the vacuum advance, and it's out in front of the carb, not behind it. Plus it's a lot longer than 3 inches.

I'm thinking that the original hard line from the sediment bowl to the carb was replaced with a rubber one. That one is behind the carb and it's about two to three inches long.

no,I didnt explain real good,,its a short rubber hose that has clamps,it clamps to the back of the carburetor,,it is the line from the air cleaner,,its about three inches long,,maybe like an 1 1/2 in diameter,,black rubber like a radiator hose

that's what I thought you meant to begin with. Sorry! Still don't know your 3 cylinder enough to give advice.

Well! By golly! Messick's woke up! System musta been down when I tried it this morning. I.D. is 2 inches, length is shy of 2.5 inches. NH part # 311107

you could look this up yourself, you know.

Ahhh, when you said "small rubber hose" I thought that you meant small diameter since you specified a 3" length.

The trouble with Larry is all he ever posts are pictures and recipies for squash so no one even knows that he has a sweetheart little 3 cyl Ford 2000. 😉

 Well maybe he needs to take photos of those squash recipes setting on the hood of the 2000.
Good food and a nice tractor would make a great photo Larry. hint hint

Ill post some for Ultradog!!
