I have a 601 workmaster that has sat for years and the clutch housing had rodents living in it split tractor and removed clutch and found the copper hyd line that is in the bottom of the bell housing has holes rotted through it and has a split going down the it. Is this replaceable?

I believe that replacement tubes are available for the 4 speed transmissions, but not for the 5 speeds. You should be able to use the search on here to find threads on it.

It looks like someone shoved a copper pipe through the old steel pressure tube. It might be hard to get out. There are old posts on here about the subject if you click on modern view and type in hydraulic tube removal in the search bar. When the page resets click on search again.

I spoke with Walts tractor parts in MO and was told that the tube they sell for pressure replacement tube has the steps machined in it. I ordered one from them and will post an update when I get it. I was told by the sales guy that the tranny has to be removed to do this does any one know if this is true or can this be put back in from the front? I thought I would take the new tube and put it in my freezer overnight prior to installing to shrink as much as possible
