Here is some paint color info that I found the other day at my local dealer. I understand that the vendor is Valspar. Hope this helps.

Thanks Bern, I take it that is what they currently offer?
I can't believe it's meant to be indicative of the original colors.
The Ford grays certainly changed between '39 and '62.

The numbers that have "DS" (drop ship) on the end means that the dealer orders through the New Holland parts system, but the paint itself is shipped directly to the dealer from Valspar, and is only orderable in package quantities (6 spray bombs, 4 quarts, individual gallons).

That is the "official" NH offering for complete tractor & equipment coverage. I know there has been some disagreement on this
board lately as to the proper colors for the various years, however I thought I'd let everyone know what the official word is
from NH on the matter.

Myself personally, I still don't think there is any difference between the '63-'64 blue and the '65-'99 blue.

I didn't mean to re-open the blue discussion Bern.
I was thinking of the battle ship/machinery gray used on 9N/2Ns
as compared to the medium and light grays used later.

Valspar is indeed the supplier as they have been for years. That said, Sherwin Williams bought Valspar in June of 2017 so change could be in the wind.

This may be an obsolete chart. The 3rd one down, the Ford '39 Dark Grey is no longer supplied. I see only two shades of BLUE and the important ones aren't on it. "IRONGARD" is the CNH brand nowadays, but not sure who the supplier is. I saved a copy anyway just for reference, thanks.

I?ve been at one New Holland dealer or another since 1996. Between 1996 and 2000 NH offered one color blue and after 2000 they offered two to accommodate the ?new? blue mandated by FoMoCo when they sold the Tractor Operations. Valspar is still the paint vendor for CNH.

I'm glad I'm not the only one who believes that there are only two shades of blue: 1999 and earlier, and 2000 and up. If anyone has convincing evidence to the contrary, I'd love to see it.

“Valspar is still the paint vendor for CNH.”

Valspar was the supplier for JD when I visited their factories a few
years back too. I’ve always gotten good reaults with their paint.
