Ford 345D Industrial brake discs

So I got the new, evidently gold plated discs from the dealer but am having trouble keeping the steel floater in position during re-assembly. Is there a trick to this? Should I grease the steel disc to keep it centered? I guess I could stand the whole axle housing up vertically on the lug bolts/nuts but that seems kind of risky. What's the trick?

TIA

I did that last spring.
I don't remember having any particular
problems with it but do remember reaching
in there with a long, skinny screwdriver to
ease them into place.

Thanks, I've been trying the long screwdriver approach without much luck. Maybe I'll try snugging up a few bolts and then re-try.

I set it up on axle flange/wheel bolts when did them on my 4500 and back when worked in dealership. had no problems, its more stable than looks

(quoted from post at 01:41:35 10/03/18) Gravity is your friend. Stand it up.

Thanks Rick, that did the trick. Had to use my cherry picker to pick it up though, Sucker weighs a ton!

Does anybody know the torque specs on those brake caliper (expanders) bolts? The service book i have lists every bolt on the rear axle except those. Maybe an online reference
?

Thanks again guys.
