Found some old iron in Il

I have some cousins that live near Galesburg, Il and we drove there over the weekend to visit.
While driving around looking at some of the country and sites we drove by a place with several old tractors setting in the weeds out near the roadway. We stopped but the place was closed, probably because it was Sunday.
We walked along the road side and snapped a few quick photo's before leaving, didn't what to get arrested for trespassing.
Need to talk to my cousins about this place.

A number of other brands as well, I'll try to post later.

To all: Let me know if any of you who live in the area would be willing to look at these machines closer for me. I need some 6000 parts, and
I'm willing to pay whatever is fair for your time. High on my list of wants are the 6000 fenders and front axle, as well as the steering
wheel on the Commander. This assumes of course that they are worth shipping. It also assumes that the owner will part them out.

Yes appears to have a mag and long axle pin so would be a wartime 2n but I believe the steel wheels were available before the 2n so it might be possible to have them on a 9n.

Fenders are the same as the hundred series tractor only extensions were added. I put a set on my 860 off a 6000. Gave the extensions to a friend who is using them on a puller with 38" wheels and I put the monkey grips on my 950 puller. All this said, because the 6000 is a later model most of the time the fenders are in better shape then the hundred series with the typical rot near the bottom but finding them could be a problem. If you run across a set of good hundred series fenders you can always build extensions, just another option

Thanks for posting John. I always like the
photos. Funny but none of those are models
I have any interest in except...
The N on steel Would be fun to own and
there's something about those front weight
boxes that makes me hanker for one - and a
tractor to put it on.

There's a lot of Menonite farmers near me that put steel in place of rubber on all of their tractors. There are a few Menonite blacksmith/welding shops that specialize in making the wheels.
