Ford 3000 Fluid Leak (power steering?)

My 1966 Ford 3000 is putting out a stream of fluid. I attached two photos showing the area. One photo is a closeup of what looks like a plug with a wire attached to it. That is where the fluid is oozing out.

Can anyone tell me what this plug is for and how I might identify the fluid and repair it? I have to add power steering fluid often. I can't find any info in my Ford Shop Manual. I appreciate any help!

If I'm seeing the pic right, that's your oil sending unit. It would be leaking engine oil, not power steering fluid. Are you certain the fluid is coming from that plug?

I agree - that's the engine oil pressure sensor. Cheap to replace, if it's not simply loose. If that's the only place you're seeing
an oil leak, your p/s oil is leaking past the shaft seal of the pump, and going into your crankcase.

+1 on FordFarmer. Check your crankcase oil level. If way high, he?s on the mark about seals in PS pump.

Thanks very much for the response and the information. That gives me something good to proceed with. I'll look into the Oil Pressure Sensor and report back.

I really appreciate your help.
