HEY FORD FARMER Ford 9600 pics and 224 disk

So I finally tried out my Ford 224 20' disk. I'm in gear 5 on my 9600, have tried to keep disk level. But I'm leaving behind centre ridge. Rear disks gangs (left and right) seem to be spaced closer together. Is this what is causing the ridges? or am I going too fast? Interested in any feedback. Thanks for your replies in advance.

jo-ker, I believe that all discs leave a ridge. That is one of the reasons for pulling some sort of leveler behind it on the last pass when preparing for a seeding. I don't see 5th being too fast for discing unless the 9600 starts to heat up.

Yep, that about sums it up. Could maybe slide the gangs out a bit in their U-bolts... but that might not work with the wings.
I usually pull mine in 5th and Dual Power, only because the 7600 runs out of snort if you try to go faster.

You'd be surprised... they aren't as big inside as you'd think. The cab on my TW is roomier. And lots quieter.

Hey Bern, them tires are 18.4x38s, they are worn but the cab is tall, i can stand up in it, im 6foot tall, cab is called a Vision, built somewhere in Kansas.
