Tractor Service & Parts Manuals

I went to a state equipment auction yesterday, trucks, loaders, graders and a few mower tractors selling for more than I though they were worth.
In the rows of miscellaneous stuff they had three 3x3x2 crates full of service and parts manuals.
In one crate I saw a couple of Ford binders so I dug through it some to see what was there, I found over 20 books and binders covering 2000-7000 models, 2600-7700 models and 2610-7710 models plus a few that covered the 3230-4630. One binder on the 2000-7000 was copywrited in 71.
There were hundreds of books in that crate and I could tell there were more Ford manuals below the ones I had dug through.
I hung around waiting for them to sell the crate fully intending on buying it, figured I could keep a few I might need and sell the rest here and on flebay.

Well the crate of books sold for $1700, I'm sorry to say I don't have any manuals to sell, hopefully the guy that bought the crate will be offering them up for sell soon.
If I had came home telling my wife I paid $1700 for a box of books she'd have me committed or worse.

Any one wanting some manuals should keep an eye out for them here, on eBay and any other used book site.

Nowadays, ONE manual for a big tractor, or combine, etc. can cost $600 to $1200 bucks. OUCH!

It'd be great if amongst all those are the original Ford Special Industrial Type Ground Engaging Towing Models -for the Air Force 621 Moto-Tug. There's a Service and a Parts Manual, someone posted the covers only a while back but when I requested he scan and post them complete, in MANUALS on the *N*-*T*-*C* tractor site he hemmed and hawed...

Unlikely that one would be in there, most of them where for equipment used by the state highway dept and parks service.
Looks like they were clearing out their inventory of old books they no longer needed.
Hopefully they will be made available for those of us still using older equipment.

I have shop and parts manuals for the -000 series along with service manuals for to --10 & --30 models up to 85 hp, although most of the changes in the -600 series where minor upgrades I'd still like to have a set of manuals for those models.
