Rained in exhaust outlet

Removed gas tank from Ford 3400. Working outdoors. Stormed yesterday. 70 mph wind blew cover (can) off exhaust outlet. Got 1/2 inch rain. What do I need to do to get water out of engine

Pull plugs or injectors. Spin it over to blow the water out of the cylinders.
Replace plugs (or injectors) start it and run till warm.
I would change the oil afterwards.

1/2" isn't much, did it get enough in it to lock the engine, if not start it up and blow out what ever is in the manifold.

This reminds me that I need to start my 4000SU, it's rained over 2 1/2 inches over the weekend, no rain cap on that tractor.

(quoted from post at 06:26:40 09/27/18) Flappers are cheap.

True and I have them on other tractors but I use the SU in my poultry barns and that flapper hangs into every low hanging line or wire in those buildings.
In there I don't need any extra help tearing up stuff.

+1.....I think they call it hydrolock when you have fluid locked in a cylinder (valves closed on the compression stroke) and there is more liquid in the cylinder than the allowable room when the piston is at TDC. By removing mentioned components, you allow an exit for the trapped water which, if not vented could bend a connecting rod among other things.
