1970 Ford 5000 PS part question

Need help to determine if I am ordering the correct part.
The item I need is 41 in the illustration below, but there are 3 listed options

Item 41 Assy., Cylinder Pressure
Product No: D0NN3A562F

Item 41 TUBE
Product No: 86602417

Item 41 HYD TUBE,0.377" OD
Product No: 48002217

I think my choice is D0NN3A562F

The parts illustration covers production dates 10/68 - 6/70. My unit was produced in May of 1970 so I am fairly certain this is the correct illustration -- visually, everything matches as well.

If I am correct, New Holland prices it at over 500 bucks -- way out of my range.

Are there any other options that you guys might know of?

Thanks for your help.

Any decent hydraulic repair shop can make you up a hose with an O-ring fitting at one end to connect to the steering mechanism, and a compression repair end at the other end that will grab onto the steel line after you hack it off next to where it's crimped to the old hose.

Or, if keeping it as original as possible isn't an issue, they can make up a complete hose, (maybe a little longer, if needed) that can be re-routed a bit vs. the hose/steel line combo to get the job done.

Hydraulic hose isn't REAL expensive, but special ends (O-ring or flare, or compression ends) are more $$$ than pipe thread ends.

You should be able to get this done for between $30 and $50.

Ditto what Bob said. Don't pay New Holland's extortionist prices. They quoted me $37 the other day for a simple lip seal that I turned around
and got at NAPA for $8.

The correct line for 01 Oct 1968 to 31 Aug. 1970 is the 86602417 (subbed up from D0NN3A562E, you hover your mouse arrow over the little blue exclamation point). When you open the parts page go to the top bar and slide the dividing line between "part name" and "description" to the right which will allow you to see the full production date info.

Thanks much for the info. I found a local place that may be able to help. I'll check them out on Monday. I really would like to have a flexible replacement instead of the stock one.

Also found a few online that make custom hoses so hopefully I'll find something.

The pressure line on my 66 model 5000 went bad this year, new line was over $440.
Local shop made up a hyd hose same length as the old hose with compression fittings on both ends, we cut the steel lines and added in the new hose, works gears and only cost $50.
